Three different things with one name

What “not defecating” actually means

Adult frequency varies enormously with diet, an insect-heavy adult passes stool far more often than a salad-heavy one. The number that matters isn’t in the table, it’s your own animal’s baseline, which you have to have written down to notice a change.
“Hasn’t pooped today” is not impaction. “Hasn’t pooped in a week and has stopped eating” is a vet visit.
