Chat with Lizzy.

Lizzy is not your typical AI chat bot. She is your personal care assistant, and she takes her care answers solely from our hand-written care guide: thirteen chapters and verdicts on 166 foods, fully customized and curated by us. Her answers link the matching guide section. For anything urgent, see your nearest exotics vet.

How Lizzy works

Is Lizzy an AI chatbot?

Yes, Lizzy runs on an AI language model, but she is not allowed to answer from it. Each question first pulls the matching sections of the Beardie Guide and our food checker, and her care advice may only come from those sections. If they do not cover the question, she tells you it is outside what she can help with instead of guessing.

How is Lizzy different from asking ChatGPT about my bearded dragon?

A general chatbot blends everything it has read, including outdated care sheets that still suggest daily fruit or copy the same D3 table from each other. On care, Lizzy can only repeat what our guide says, and her answers link the matching guide or food page so you can read the whole thing yourself. Ask her about basking heat, for example, and she answers the way the guide does: in power density at the basking spot, not just a surface temperature.

What does Lizzy do if my dragon might be sick?

She is built to engage, not brush you off. If what you describe is on the guide's urgent list, she tells you so in the same reply, including whether the guide says to see an exotics vet today or within a few days. If your message is too vague to match, she asks one or two questions drawn from the guide's urgent signs. She does not diagnose, and she is not a vet.

Can Lizzy look at a photo of my setup?

No. Lizzy reads text only. She will say so and ask for the details that let her answer from the guide, such as the bulb type and mounting distance, the substrate, or what a spot on the skin looks like.

Is Lizzy free?

Yes. Lizzy is free on this page and in the Beardie app for iPhone and Android. Your first few questions need no account; after that, a free account keeps the conversation going.
