This Privacy Policy explains how Beardie Supply Co. LLC(“Beardie Supply,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit beardiesupply.com, use our mobile app, chat with our assistant, or buy from us. By using our services you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Contact and account details (name, email, password) when you create an account, join our rewards program, or subscribe to emails.
• Order and payment information when you buy (shipping address, items, order history). Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Messages you send us, including questions you type into our support assistant and any human support conversations.
• Care records you choose to keep in the app or on the site: the animals you add (name, species, morph, sex, dates), photographs you upload, weights, care history entries, and reminders. Photographs are stored privately and are never given a public link.

Information collected automatically:

• Device and usage data (IP address, browser or device type, pages viewed, app interactions) collected through cookies and similar technologies for analytics and security.
• Crash and performance diagnostics from the app (device model, operating system version, app version, and the technical state of the app when a problem occurred), collected through a crash-reporting service so we can find and fix defects. These reports are not linked to your account.

Our AI support assistant

Our support assistant (“Lizzy”) is an automated tool, not a person and not a veterinarian. To answer your questions, the message you send may be processed by a third-party AI service provider. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, passwords, or payment details into the chat. When a question is outside the assistant’s scope, it is escalated to a member of our team. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve our website, app, store, guide, and support assistant.
• To process and fulfill orders and manage your account and rewards.
• To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
• To understand, in aggregate, which species our keepers actually own, so we stock products for the animals people here keep rather than guessing. This looks at totals across all users, not at any individual’s records.
• To send you transactional messages and, with your consent, marketing emails (you can opt out any time).
• To secure our services, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who work on our behalf: payment processing and e-commerce, the AI provider that powers the assistant, hosting and analytics, email delivery, and shipping carriers, under agreements that limit their use of it.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site functions.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of marketing at any time, by emailing support@beardiesupply.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Other U.S. state residents: similar rights may apply under your state’s privacy law; contact us to exercise them.

If you are in the EEA or UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (such as fulfilling orders and providing support); your consent (such as marketing emails, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business; and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Behavioral advertising and analytics

We use analytics to understand how our services are used. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws. If we ever use third-party advertising, we will update this Policy and provide any opt-out required by law.

Automated decisions

Our support assistant generates responses automatically, but we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. A human remains available for questions the assistant cannot handle.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, our services do not currently respond to them.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
